Male Infertility

Diagnosis is made by spermiogram test. According to certain criteria, low number, low motility or excessive number of abnormally shaped sperms may affect fertilization. In rare cases, no sperm may be found in the spermiogram. This may be due to either the absence of sperm production in the testis (male ovary) or a blockage in the pathways. In these cases, it may be necessary to resort to more detailed tests to be successful.
